Welcome Jason from Northwestern Ontario Canada. We have 7 wachtels all living within 30 kms of one another. Three of them are ours. (see Hanno's Hunting photos) We feel your pain on the loss of your dog but be comforted to know a spectacular dog is in your future. All my wachtels came to our home through Gary Gehrmann and Dave Pepe's hard work(I've had 5) with this breed. I've taken wachtels at every stage of life and never had a bad one or one that wouldn't perform their natural hunting skills. looking forward to hearing from you once you decide upon your dog.
